Oh, Michael! We forgot how much we missed you ‘til we saw these pics. Truly, Isaac Mizrahi is no match for your acerbic tongue. But we’re not here to talk about Project Runway, much as we’d love to. We’re here to talk about Kors’ A/W ’12 collection,  of course.

This collection is, as we have come to expect from Kors, not quiet. It shouts red and gold and enlarged plaid and voluminous fur, in his usual mix of sex gowns and cheeky separates. We cannot get enough of the red coat with the asymmetric fur lapel (is that faux, Michael? We hope so…) and the dark grey skirt suit is tres chic. We absolutely love the sequinned dresses, with their thin slices of sheer fabric perfectly capturing a playful, but very grown up, sexiness. The plaid midiskirts are, however, a tad…matronly?

But we can forgive those skirts because Kors has presented a great collection full of great design and style. And now we’re kind of thinking we need knitted hotpants in our lives…
