They know their target

We hope you lavished your transatlantic pals with airmail before Topshop opened in the US, because the time has come for them to return the favour... Yep, it's Target collaboration time. Following lines from Liberty, Paul & Joe, Thakoon, Proenza Schouler and Zac Posen, we now have Missoni. Or rather they do, because there's no UK shipping. We can't say we really blame them; the range includes garden furniture and a bike...

To be honest - dare we say it?, if you squint your eyes, some of the line looks a little bit Next circa 90s, but it's a 400-piece collection so you can't go pleasing everyone. We're mostly coveting the breakable homeware and summer pieces, so a bit of a pointless dream in two levels.

FYI, this comes at a time when Missoni's mainline collection has shifted away from the iconic zig-zag print, so it's not like you can get yourself any current copycat pieces, although the vibe is generally retro rather than 'on-trend' anyway.

In case you have a large trunk and an airline ticket, the line is priced between $2.99 to $599 (the bike and furniture we guess) and launches 13 September.
