At least Alec Baldwin's in there.
Big Bang Theory, again
Thu, 14/07/2011 - 15:35 by John HillThis year's Primetime Emmy Awards nominations are a fairly reasonable mix of programmes that deserve to win an award and programmes that pay for the programmes that deserve to win an award. From the former we've got 30 Rock, Game Of Thrones, Mad Men, Modern Family, Parks and Recreation and from the latter, The Big Bang Theory and Glee. Also, for anyone who's seen Parks and Recreation, you'll be heartbroken to see that Nick Offerman, aka Ron Swanson, has been passed over for Outstanding Actor In A Comedy in lieu of two members of The Big Bang Theory cast. How do they do it?
Anyway, here's our favourite Ron Swanson quote to make us feel better. Gone but not forgotten.
“The less I know about other people’s affairs, the happier I am. I’m not interested in caring about people. I once worked with a guy for three years and never learned his name. Best friend I ever had. We still never talk sometimes.”
Oh, and Cat Deeley's also been nominated for an Emmy. Don't know what to say about that.

"You may have thought you heard me say I wanted a lot of bacon and eggs, but what I said was: Give me all the bacon and eggs you have."
Also, did anyone watch The C Word? It was shit. And I love Laura Linney to the ends of the Earth, but that show just kinda sucked. Got cancer? Wax your minge and do it with Stringer Bell on a desk! Actually, that sounds awesome. The show was not awesome.

I'd be amazed if Peter Dinklage didn't get it. Suppose it depends how many people watched it in the end. As for Ty Burrell, he's in the supporting actors category, although why Big Bang can have two actors in the main category and Modern Family has to put theirs in the supporting category is a bit of a mystery.
Nice to see Friday Night Lights, Parks & Rec and Game of Thrones get a few nods. Peter Dinklage is superb in Thrones, would love him to win.
delighted to see Louis CK in the mix, he won't win in a million years but its a great show
hard to disagree with Modern Family nominations as well, its funny week in week out, shame Ty Burrell didnt get a look in for the actor category though.
Also, I have to agree, RON SWANSON WAS ROBBED.
as for Cat Deeley, massive WTF?!?!?
