Bloody film studios, they've got so much to answer for - putting a gun to our head and forcing us to watch Sex and the City 2, ruining Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore's marriage, slyly slipping some amusing jokes in Arthur, not even featuring a bird in Black Swan. Fuckers - let's sue 'em...

When we heard that someone was suing the Drive studio we assumed it was a disgruntled man whose wife would only sleep with him if he wore a Ryan Gosling mask. Nope, it's actually a woman called Sarah Deming who claims the film didn't have enough driving in it. It just doesn't do what it says on the tin, which slightly side-steps the issue of it being the best film of the year so far.

In the lawsuit, Deming claims the film "bore very little similarity to a chase, or race action film ... having very little driving in the motion picture." She also took issue with its portrayal of Jewish people, adding that the racism directed toward them in the film equates to "promotion of criminal violence against members of the Jewish faith." 

Next up, Deming sues the makers of Erin Brockovich for making any old lawsuit seem possible.
