Clunging dresses ahoy

FILM, not movie - honestly, for a film that's success is based around the beautiful English language, not sure what the Americanism is about, but it was the the premiere of the Inbetweeners spin-off last night… There have been few press screenings which either spells a cautious studio or nonchalance because they know we'll all see it anyway (have you seen the cinema listings this week?)...

As we've previously said, we're reserving judgement after watching the trailer  - we hope the movie film is at least more hilarious than the antics from Leigh Francis on the red carpet (pic 3) - zzzzzz.

Also in attendence, we had the movie's film's main quartet - Simon Bird (someone got a stylist!), James Buckley, Blake Harrison, Joe Thomas, some actresses who presumably provide the clunge (including a low rent Christina Hendricks impersonator and that one with the forehead), Russell Howard, Mike Skinner, Una Healy, Simon Webb, Alex Zane and the gardener from Desperate Housewives whose career took a mighty dip after THIS.

Poor Louise Weener, bet she thought Sleeper would get at least a few royalty cheques from this. The film is on general release from this Friday, BTW.

  • Is John Hill saying Holy Moly is amercican? I didn't think that for a moment, however if it turns out that is the case then I shan't bother reading it again. On the other hand it may be that there is, within his comment, some withering come back that has completely eluded me.

  • why are you wanking about saying its not a 'movie' as if they are being in some way precious about it. Unless you are fucking american it IS a film, this is the UK and thats what we call them.
