360 hair follicles?

The BFI London Film Festival kicked off last night with the opening gala of Rachel Weisz and Jude Law's 360, a film looking at 'what happens when partners from different social backgrounds engage in physical relationships'. Like say, for instance, a Hollywood actor and a humble nanny.

It's directed by The City of God's Fernando Meirelles so we actually have high hopes, despite the fact that Law's film hits have receded at the same pace as his hairline.

Anyway, this is just the start of the two-week long London Film Festival, which is bringing a large bunch of exciting premieres (and stars - Cloooney) to the capital. We're most excited about Ides of March, Shame, The Descendants and Rampart. Oh and a flick called Asshole, too - although only so we can hear the public address system at the Odeon say 'last call for ASSHOLE'. We're just immature like that.

Visit bfi.org.uk/lff/ if you want to try and get your hands on any left over tickets.
