Last night was the premiere of Lars Von Trier's Melancholia, and film that despite winning critical praise has somewhat been overshadowed by the director's Hitler-isms at Cannes. We can thus see why he stayed away from the UK premiere, but why also Kiefer Sutherland and Alexander Skarsgard - aw, guys :((((

As previously reported, the apocalyptic drama honestly looks really quite good. Here's the plot:

"Justine (Kirsten Dunst) and Michael (Alexander Skarsgård) are celebrating their marriage at a sumptuous party in the home of her sister (Charlotte Gainsbourg) and brother-in-law (Kiefer Sutherland). Meanwhile, the planet, Melancholia, is heading towards Earth..." (IMDB)
