Even Megan Fox can't ruin this
Thu, 12/01/2012 - 13:34 by Gemma ExleyWe previously speculated that Friends With Kids was some kind of sequel to Friends With Benefits involving over-analytical thirty-somethings on the cusp of parenthood with not very hilarious consequences. Shockingly, we were wrong - it looks alight!
It's actually directed and written by Jennifer Westfeldt, who's previously been seen getting killed in 24 and waiting patiently on husband Jon Hamm's arm at Mad Men premieres, so it's nice that she's getting a bit of the spotlight. Hamm also stars, although playing the onscreen partner of Kristen Wiig, whereas Westfeldt herself couples-up with Parks and Recreation's Adam Scott as the the pair of leads who have a kid together despite not being romantically involved. With inevitable consequences, we're guessing. There's also Chris O'Dowd continuing his upward trajectory into superstardom. No release date in the UK yet.
FYI, if you like Adam Scott in Parks and Recreation, check out Party Down - it's great.
