Indie roundup:
Fri, 16/12/2011 - 16:15 by John Hill

Got a couple of great deals for you this week, as both the Indie Royale and Humble Bundle release their Christmas packages, which include amongst others, Dino D-Day, Gratuitous Space Battles and Jamestown, the last of which we also featured in one of our recent round-ups.

It seems that everybody wants to get in on the cheap indie games packages at the moment though, and as well as the above two, we've also seen the Little Big Bunch launched, which is another charity-based collection that includes bundle favourite Frozen Synapse and Explodemon. For £5 you really can't argue with that.

Also up this week we've seen Hyperspace Invaders Zero released, which is essentially Space Invaders on acid, as well as a few of our favourite browser picks, including Zylatov Sisters, a two-players-on-the-same-keyboard survival type game, Uphill Rush 4, in which the main aim is supposedly to race and upgrade a variety of vehicles, but which we reckon is actually just about who can smash their bike up the quickest (seemed that way to us anyway} and finally, These Robotic hearts of Mine, an innovative, relatively sad, puzzler. How do you even make a puzzle game sad?

NEXT WEEK: Top 10 indie games of 2011.

We'll leave you with Uphill Rush 4...

Also, once again, thanks for Indiegames.com and DiyGamer.com for bringing this little lot to our attention.
