With the gaming market slowly spluttering back into action after its Christmas hiatus, the early months of 2012 will see the arrivals of Mass Effect 3, a new Final Fantasy, Max Payne 3 and Soul Caliber V. Unfortunately we have no such excitement this week, but it's all about pacing yourself right? Here's what games are coming out this week:

Ski-Doo: Snowmobile Challenge (Xbox 360/PS3)
Well-known Skimobile manufacturer (or at least in Skimobile circle) Ski-Doo bring out a game unsurprisingly about snowmobiles. It boasts itself as the most authentic snowmobile game ever, is there much competition?

Winter Sports 2012: Feel The Spirit (Wii/PC/3DS)
To remind us that it's fricking freezing, the winter-themed game releases continue. Boasting over 10 winter sports including Winter Motocross, snowboarding, skiing and the highlight of a riveting game of curling.

Steel Armor - Blaze of War (PC)
This war strategy game with heavy emphasis on tank-driving features two very different modes, the top-down strategic war mode and the 3D driving mode which are vastly different. Both look very engaging. Will this take tank-driving sims to the next level?

King Arthur 2 - Limited Edition (PC)
The follow-up to the game based on the film King Arthur, The RTS/RPG promises more fantasy, as King Arthur must rebuild his shattered land. More sword-fighting dragon-based adventures.

Reel Fishing Paradise 3D (3DS)
Travel to over a dozen stunning locations and fish. The first fishing game to land on 3DS, promises that will test even fishing veterans, so there's that.

German Truck Simulator (PC)
If you hanker for a more continental truck driving simulation experience, then you're in luck. Drive across the length and breadth of Germany in a truck; it's like Christmas has come back around already.
