Why are the military there?

Angry Birds has now been turned into an attraction at a theme park in China. Unlicensed of course. According to one park official it was set up to "serve as a method for people to purge themselves and to gain happiness”. That and to embarrass the decadent West with a show of strength and prosperity.

Unfortunately, while the West may be decadent and complacent they also have fairly strict IP laws, so there's no telling how long this attraction will stay up. Buy your tickets now, capitalist pigs. For The Emperor! Or whatever the Chinese equivalent of that is. Glorious Leader perhaps.
