I don't think there is at least one bodybuilder that didn't use anabolic steroids. Maybe there was in the past when steroids sale wasn't so developed but not now
The only way they could develop any significant muscles would probably be to buy legal steroids for a boost, at least in the first few weeks of training. Otherwise I can't understand why they are trying this.
I've been once to this bodybuilding/weightlifting contest and to be hones, I was amazed to see how much time the contestants spend with painting their body, putting on all types of oils and creams... even picking the panties appears to be a real trouble because the label with the steroids name must be visible because their the sponsor.... pfff
