We've presented for you, some of the best mobile games around, and they all seemed to be geared around going fast. A sequel to Sonic and Knuckles after 16 years, Kimi Raikkonen's very own racing game, Reckless Racing 2 and Fly With Me about controlling birds, not based on the Matt Lucas and David Walliams airport-based comedy. There's also some other games that aren't about going fast, but that's not really important.

ODEON - iPhone/Android 
Giving you the ability to read and watch trailers of all the latest and upcoming films, check show times, find your nearest cinema, view film ratings and book seats as well as receiving special offers from ODEON, it's genuinely one of, if not the, best app we've seen for finding and booking films. Plus, it genuinely seems to be engineered towards being instructive rather than just selling to you. The only downside is that it only covers ODEON cinemas (unsurprisingly), although luckily they seem to be prevalent enought for that to not really be much of an issue. It also means you’ll have all the answers when someone asks ‘what film do you want to watch?’

Sonic The Hedgehog™ 4 Episode I - Android/iPhone/iPad
Sonic 4 is here, it is the sequel to Sonic and Knuckles, which has been in the works for 16 years (we’re forgetting about all the other Sonic games that have come in between). With enhanced gameplay elements, new moves, four classic Sonic stages and two exclusive levels designed for smartphone accelerometers, this harks back to the good old days of Sonic. 

Sir Benfro's Brilliant Balloon - iPhone/iPad 
Sir Benfro, the well-known naturalist, scientist and explorer, has ‘made some of the most important discoveries of his generation’. Now you must help guide Sir Benfro on his latest fantastical adventure as he uses fireflies to power his balloon. Guide him through forests, across oceans and down into the centre of the Earth. 

Fly With Me - iPhone/iPad
Keep your bird airborne by tapping the screen, eat bees midair and collect all the pieces to build a robot bird. It’s simple, yet addictive fun in the same vein as the helicopter game.

Jigsaw Mansion 2 - iPhone/iPad
Jigsaws are great aren’t they? Pictures all cut up, that you must put together. Imagine a mansion of jigsaws. Well, that doesn’t exist, but you can download Jigsaw Mansion 2 for all your jigsaw-playing needs. It also gives you the option of turning you own pictures into jigsaws, it’s bloody madness!

The Humble Bundle for Android - Android
As we’ve mentioned many times before, the Humble Bundle are collections of great independently-developed games where you pay what you think they deserve, with some of the money going to charity too. It’s been very successful on PC and now has made the jump to Android, the latest bundle features Anomaly: Warzone Earth, Osmos and Edge, and if you pay more than the average user, you'll get World of Goo.

Kimi Raikkonen ICEONE Racing - iPhone/iPad
Everyone’s got an app these days, even Formula One Champion Kimi Raikkonen, the ICEMAN. With four different locations, city centre, rich rural, mountain range and (the best sounding one) gothic urban. With vehicles including shifter kart, rally car and race truck, it gives you a larger selection of racing fun than most racing game apps.

Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land - iPhone/iPad
H.P. Lovecraft’s most famous creation, The Call of Cthulhu has been turned into a turn-based strategy/RPG. Set in World War One, a team of investigators and soldiers must take on ‘an ancient enemy, one older than humanity itself’.

Reckless Racing 2 - iPhone/iPad/Android
Who doesn’t love a bit of Reckless Racing? Obviously everyone loves it enough to want to spawn a second go. The top down driving sequel features 18 detailed cars, from small dirt buggies to souped-up racers and 40 challenges and races to take part in. Online multiplayer racers add a cherry on top of this great fun racing game.
