Remember how you always wanted to hear a cover version of Fleetwood Mac’s 1987 hit Big Love played on a banjo? And remember how you always wanted to see the man who recorded that cover, Jim Moray, playing the song in a wood? And remember how you hoped there’d be at least two close-ups of his trainers in that video? Well today is your lucky day, because all three of these implausibly specific wishes have been granted by Holy Moly…

You might’ve heard the studio version of Jim Moray’s Big Love (that sounds wrong) played on 6 Music last year. Well now you can buy it and several other songs collected together on what we here are calling not just Jim Moray’s best album to date but a strong contender for album of the year. It’s that good.

The album – Skulk – isn’t even officially available yet but if you go here: http://jimmoray.bandcamp.com/album/skulk you can listen to it and get it before all those fools who wait for things to be in the shops before buying them.

Incidentally, the wood we shot this in was actually the historic Epping Forest, where it’s believed Henry VIII used to hunt.
