Noel Gallagher’s just posted the eight minute, Western themed, Russel Brand starring video for AKA… What A Life! Actually, someone probably posted it for him. Noel doesn’t strike us as being a “computer man”.

We’re still enjoying the song, in a sounds-like-one-of-the-good-ones-from-when-Oasis-were-mostly-rubbish kind of a way. But having sat through this daft, crappy looking and incredibly boring video we’re kind of wondering why they bothered. 

Still, it looks like everyone had a nice time in the desert. And that’s the important thing.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds debut album is released on October 17. We were going to listen to it last night but we got in a bit late. It’s probably quite good.

(Be careful, because there was an advert for a terrifyingly awful Pitbull track just before the video, when we watched.)
