Tottenham’s finest performs his new single in a stripped-down fashion
Thu, 24/11/2011 - 11:56 by Tim ChippingThis time last year we had no idea who or what Wretch 32 was - even though the young Jermaine Scott had been active on the Tottenham grime scene since 2006 (you miss a few meetings and…) But in 2011, thanks to his Top 5 album Black And White and number one single Don’t Go, Wretch became a big part of all our lives. Here at Holy Moly we consider him family. So when he was over for Sunday lunch recently, we got him to perform a special acoustic version of new single Forgiveness while we pointed a camera at him.
Guesting with Wretch on this track is Etta Bond. She was very nice. We’ve forgotten the name of the guitarist but he was nice too. Everyone was nice, is what we’re saying.
The proper version of Forgiveness (that wasn’t recorded in the Endemol boardroom) is released on December 12.
