Horrible Brummie Adnan Ghalib, the paparazzo who lucked out and ended up controlling the life of Britney Spears has just seen his luck run out (if he can see anything since he always wears those stupid wrap-around sunglasses). He was arrested yesterday and charged with a felony, namely assault with a deadly weapon - his car - as well as battery and hit and run.

If you're being issued with a restraining order keeping you at least a telephoto lens distance away from Britney Spears, you know you're in a bit of trouble. Despite this it is alleged that Ghalib was still attempting to contact Spears recently, perhaps by flinging a pre-paid mobile phone through her bedroom window.

 

When a court official attempted to serve a restraining order on the photographer on February 11th, Ghalib hit upon the brilliant idea of driving away, and whilst doing this hit upon the not so brilliant idea of running over said court official and fracturing his wrist, after driving off with the officer on his car bonnet for around forty yards. Once the poor sod fell off, Ghalib drove away quickly and scampered back underneath his favourite stone.

 

The photographer now faces losing his driving licence permanently, meaning it'll be difficult for him to sit outside Britney's home whilst tooting his horn and looking moody. Oh, and more deliciously he could face up to eight years in a Californian prison.

 

They'll just love that Birmingham accent there, especially the way Adnan says the words 'dropped' and 'soap'.
