Lying Lo-han

Lindsay Lohan is officially a wanted woman, and it's been a few years since anyone has said that. An arrest warrant against her was issued on Friday, something which should have happened last year when 'I Know Who Killed Me' was released. Lindsay has not been complying with the terms of her probation after her drink-driving case in 2007, one of which was to take part in an alcohol education programme.

Rather than attend any of the lessons Lindsay hasn't even enrolled on the class, perhaps believing that there's little she doesn't already know about alcohol. It's clear that sitting around in boozy clubs while your moody-chops girlfriend plays the contents of her i-Pod also isn't the best way to show remorse.

Luckily Lindsay has a smart new lawyer named Shawn Chapman Holley, already earning the fee by using the watertight legal argument that the whole thing is a "misunderstanding". Well, that's all right then.

Lindsay is due in court today to answer the charges, but unlikely to turn up as she is likely to be arrested on sight by Beverly Hills police. Indeed when police were called to her home on Saturday after a huge argument between Lindsay and Samantha resulted in a broken window, the shouting suddenly stopped and the pair refused to answer the door to the grinning policemen.

Lindsay is still protesting her innocence though, and whined in a statement (not to police, obviously) to Perezhilton.com. The punctuation (or lack of it) is Lindsay's own.

"This warrant for my arrest is completely fabricated and its a horrendous lie. This will make me loose (sic) every single deal that I have right now. Its horrible."

It's a good day to be a policeman in Los Angeles. Even better if they introduce a 'Wanted - dead or alive' and shoot-on-sight policy.
