According to reports, Dannii will only receive £450,000 to be on the show where as Cheryl will be rolling around in over a million. It's a huge pay rise for Chezza, who was reportedly paid £800,000 last year and all she had to do was weep or say "I was blown away' in her soft Geordie accent. But no pay rise for Dannii, who is the paid the least out of all the judges on ITV1 show. Dremot O'leary is paid over £1 million, while Louis is paid £600,0000. A source from The Sun said:

We may be living in the toughest economic times in decades but when someone helps a show pull nearly 15million viewers - as on last year's X Factor final - then you have to pay them to keep them on board.
Cheryl made last year's series. She gave us glamour and helped bring in the young viewers we desperately need to woo advertisers. She is worth every penny.
