Demi, Me, Me

Shy, demure Demi Moore has revealed that she is missing out on some movie roles because she's just too damn beautiful and youthful-looking! And don't forget 'modest'. The poor love's career is suffering because she has taken care of herself and cannot get cast as a woman in her forties because... well, it's just not believable that she could be that age.

Well, so Demi reckons, anyway. It doesn't quite explain why producers aren't tripping over themselves to offer her roles written for actresses in their twenties or thirties, but never mind. Here's 46-year-old Demi blowing her own trumpet then moving on to blow the whole of the brass section of her own orchestra.

"Being the age I am, it has been a tough few years because there is so much focus on how I look. It almost got to the point where I felt like, 'Well they don't know what to do with me'.

Something involving pliers would be my suggestion. Demi surprisingly admitted to Hello magazine that she wasn't perfect. Not yet, anyway.

"I am flawed. I'm not 20, not 30, but I'm certainly different from what most people feel someone in her 40s should be. I'm very comfortable with the age I am, and the way I look."

She should do. It's obviously cost enough. Whisper it, but could the lack of roles not be down to her looks but the fact that she acts like a piece of chipboard with false breasts stitched to the front?
