Despite appearing in one of the most homo-erotic films of all time ('300', not 'RocknRolla' obviously) Gerard Butler is a merciless omnivore when it comes to female flesh. He may just have met his match if the rumours are true and he is actually dating Jennifer Aniston, a woman so desperate for a child that the noise of her biological clock drowns out everything in range.

Gerard and the impressively-chinned actress were spotted enjoying a cosy dinner together, though they were joined by director Andy Tennant so maybe they were just discussing a film project? Not according to Page Six who had a spy in the kitchen and a man with a tape recorder hiding in the soup.

 

"They were very affectionate to each other. There was another man at the table, but he looked like he was a chaperone - or just there to stop tongues wagging. They basically ignored him."

 

Maybe he's just a very dull man? Last week it was reported that Jennifer was pregnant at the hands (and another body part) of singer John Mayer. Obviously not. Gerard's clearly in for a demanding few weeks as Jennifer insists on being immediately impregnated then starts planning the nursery and the prep school. At least if she succeeds in getting pregnant she can proudly point at the foetus and exclaim 'The Butler did it. Again and again and again until he got it right.'
