But let's not just take her word for it...
It was at this point that Australia's Prime Minister stepped in (I shit you not) and congratulated Grimshaw on giving Ramsay a 'left uppercut'. Mr Rudd also said:
"I think I can describe his remarks as reflecting a new form of low-life. I just drew a breath when I saw the sort of stuff which was said about her. I just think that's off and offensive."

What a fuss about fuck all.
Fuck me, since when did Aussies all turn into Scousers
yeah whatever... get your fucking hair sorted out you self-obsessed emo cow.
Frankly I'm surprised our own Gordie hasn't stuck his oar in.
Ah, yes. The English mentality. Be as rude, as sarcastic, and as cruel as possible, and you win.
Ever wonder why nobody likes the English?
'Ah yes'. Oh fuck. Right. Off.
Gordon James Ramsey OBE Born 8 November 1966 (age 42)
Johnstone, Renfrewshire, Scotland, United Kingdom.
"Your witness..."
No one likes the english ?? and i suppose youve asked everyone in he world have you?.. what a stupid pathetic comment, as for Gordon Ramsey, yer ok he can go a bit far, but it should be taken for what it was intended a joke !! Most jokes are usually at someones expense, but if he is sayng his laywers have checked the tapes and he never called anyone a lesbian then i for one believe him. we are too PC in this world, and on another note, Ive only ever fell out with one person in this world..and yes she was AUSTRALIAN, having to visit reguarly for work commiments, I have noticed how some (not all) Australians think they are more dam special than eveyone else... they too could do with the Ramsay treatment.
As a journalist she will have researched Gordon before interviewing him, and so she will have known the risks, the whole thing is a ratings boosting trick
Lpoolboy, it's scandalous that you suggest Aussies are hung up on how special they are. And come to London in paranoid packs. And think that London is representative of the UK as a whole (though Scotland 'looks pretty'). And scrutinise every morsel of food as being 'too fatty' or 'too expensive'. And just go to gigs (hopefully Antipodean) in London so they can tick off the list of who they saw to brag about to mates back home. On the internet. That they are obsessed with.
Utterly scandalous that you suggest all this.
The 'lesbian' comment wasn't what she found most offensive, and rightly so, as only homophobic arseholes would consider being called gay an insult. Turns out he didn't call her a leslie anyway. What she, and other people considered insulting and inappropriate was the pig comparison, and the botox comment. Then the footage of him at the studio before the interview, insulting all the women present with sexist and offensive comments, and more offensive comments he made later in the week, to other journalists. And then he lied about his mum calling and giving him a "bollocking", which he claims prompted his personal apology (after the one issued by his publicist) when she had done nothing of the sort.
Nobody deserves to be spoken to or about in a disrespectul manner by a complete stranger, or by your boss or anyone else in the workplace or that you are forced to deal with in a professional capacity. Ulnless you are one of his browbeaten kitchenhands or waitresses, or any of the fuckwits on his shows who willingly sign up for abuse and denigration in exchange for their 15 minutes of fame. His constant sexual innuendo, pathetic tantrums and sweary insults are the product of an under-developed intellect, poor communication skills, and inability to deal with inter-personal relationships in an adult manner.
I don't know anything about his personal life or background, but suspect Mr Ramsay was bullied himself as a child, and now that he is in a position of power takes pathological joy in the reversal of fortune.
Some commenters suggest that Australians are being too thin skinned about this nonsense. I think it's fairly reasonable to set standards for appropriate behaviour within a society, and then expect those within it and those who visit it to adhere to those standards. Perhaps it is those who see nothing wrong with this sort of behaviour that need to raise their standards above that of knuckle-dragging, misogynistic neanderthal.
Imagine if your own boss spoke to you as Ramsay does to restaurant staff. Or if a visitor to your workplace spoke to you and your colleagues as he did to the TV makeup artist. Or compared your wife, mother, daughter or sister to a picture of a woman on all fours, with multiple teats and pig features in front of thousands of people. Some may think this sort of behaviour is funny, or 'normal for kitchens' but it shouldn't be. It's cockends like this that perpetuate it instead of evolving with the times and setting a good example. Apprentices get bullied and become bullies themselves.
Go fuck yourself Gordon, you massive, boiled-in-the-bag gobshite.
*rant over, gets off soapbox*
