An English Toff In New York

Forget credit crunches and freezing weather, the world is a fantastic place today, because Guy Ritchie has conformed that he is moving to America in the summer.

Strangely, one of the most popular and sought-after directors in the world will not be moving to LA, the heart of the movie business, but to the other side of the continent, namely New York where he will begin his new career as a babysitter while his ex-wife Madonna goes on tour to try to earn back some of the divorce money she forked out to the posh pretend-gangster.

Madonna, despite speaking in a 'British' accent has decided to move back to the US and has won permission from the courts to bring Rocco (her son produced with Ritchie) and David (her son bought with her Visa card) to the States permanently. This means she can take her daughter Lourdes on tour with her whilst Guy sits at home with the boys gnashing his teeth and desperately trying to buy a shady camel hair coat in Greenwich Village.

If you're thinking of visiting New York later in the year, a source revealed some interesting information about a certain location you would do well to avoid.

"Guy will have Rocco and David for most of the summer. He's currently looking for an apartment in the Upper West Side of Manhattan."

So Guy will stay in America until Madonna finishes her 'Sticky + Sweet' tour. Let's hope that it's the longest tour in history and she's still grinding those bony old hips away on stage until she starts to resemble Zelda from 'Terrahawks' in a fright wig. Oh wait, she already is…
