Even though the series doesn't begin until Sunday, that hasn't stopped the 'I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here' contestants from engaging in their first bitter feud. Some of the plucky celebs - who are getting paid obscene amounts of cash to twat around on a campsite for a few days - are apparently a little unhappy that their co-stars are getting paid even more obscene amounts of cash to twat around on a campsite for a few days.

ITV bosses must be worried about this. Surely the last thing they'd want is for the contestants to start arguing and fighting - that just wouldn't be in the jolly-good-fun derring-do spirit of the enterprise, would it?

 

Here's a run-through of some of the reported payouts:

 

Nicola McLean - £7,500
Dani Behr - £40,000
Carly Zukcer - £10,000
Martina Navratilova - £30,000
Esther Rantzen - £25,000
Robert Kilroy-Silk - £15,000
George Takei - £20,000

 

There certainly is a lot of discrepancy in there, but maybe it'll all even out in the long run. After all, Nicola McLean is surely guaranteed to rake in the thousands once she leaves the jungle by flashing her baps to Nuts/Zoo/insert-name-of-rapist manual here sixty-seven times a week. Something tells us, however, that Esther Rantzen probably won't be able to take a similar approach to her renewed fame.
