A great day for British justice

Just as the ink had dried on our 'Welcome Home Jack!' banners and our party hats had been placed on our heads, Jack Tweed was finally released from prison after serving just half of his twelve-week sentence... Glory be to the British justice system.

Jack was jailed six weeks ago for assaulting a taxi driver but emerged from the gates of Edmund Hill prison earlier this morning a free man.

And despite rumours that Jack would be greeted by a bus crammed with glamour models, including friend Lauren Pope, only a few of his close friends and his mother were there to meet him.

Upon sentencing, the judge had told Tweed his sentence would have been longer had it not been for the death of his wife, Jade Goody.

Plans to celebrate his release are said to include a night out at Feaces Faces nightclub in Essex where he'll be soaking up  fighting off the advances of scantily clad females.

Justice served!

Edit: Jack Tweed was wearing Franklin and Marshall upon his release. Surely sales after this will be soaring...

  • No argument there - when your only contribution to the world is biffing a lardy pile of ignorance & a few convictions for assault, it's safe to say he wouldn't be missed.

  • If any one assulted him, would they only get 12 weeks too? Just putting the idea out there.......
