Celebrity Big Brother is back on our screens and so our thoughts turn to former contestants. Notably not-a-racist porcine bellower Jade Goody. It's been reported that she hired a Marilyn Monroe-style frock for a fancy dress party back in April 2006. But she has still not retuned it and has run up late fees totalling £2,000.

If God is in the details, then it is the backdrop to the story which presents us with the ripest facts. Let's have a look at them.

 

- The dress was hired from Aladdin's Party Centre (in Rayleigh, Essex). You can no doubt feel the glamour oozing out of your computer screen as you read this.
- It cost £20 originally to hire. You can no doubt feel your skin itching at the thought of the low-quality synthetic fabric in the 'garment'.
- She also hired an Indiana Jones outfit for her boyfriend, Jack Tweed. You can no doubt feel yourself choking at the levels of delusion tied up in the whole sorry event.
- The dress was white. You can no doubt guess that this is something that we're not going to comment on.

 

But what's all this about her going as Marilyn Monroe anyway? Marilyn Manson would have been more apt.
