Jamie Oliver is set to replicate his UK success in the USA after ABC announce he is teaming up with Ryan Seacrest for an "unscripted reality TV show" based on telling fat people not to eat so much shit.

Jamie, who became a bit of a hero in the UK due to his campaigning for better school dinners has teamed up with the American Idol host after a discussion on Ryan's radio show drew heated debate.

Ryan waffled on:
"I couldn't do what I do in terms of my schedule if I didn't eat right and exercise right BLAH BLAH," Seacrest said. "As a kid I was chubby, and I'm a firm believer that the fuel we put into our body results in a healthy lifestyle. Jamie's going to come over here, roll up his sleeves and use the resources of each town to help condition living habits to make it a better and healthier place ETC ETC ETC."

Whatever.

The boss of ABC TV, Vicki Dummer said:
He will be an advocate for change, but not act like, 'I'm from Britain and you Americans are fat."

He'll be thinking it though...
