Bitch Buggy

Does there come a point in a multi-millionaire's life when they look at their bank balance and just think, 'Right, that's it. I have enough money. I'll never have to work again, neither will my children or their children's children, so it's time to relax and just enjoy life'? When it comes to Jennifer Lopez and her grinning cadaver of a husband, it appears they're nowhere near that stage yet.

So, until every greasy cent in the world is nestling in their bank account the pair will continue to seek fortune by whatever means possible, from selling photos of their children for profit to probably nipping down to the blood bank and selling off their plasma (that might account for Marc Anthony's usual undead appearance).

The pair are suing children's buggy and pram-maker Silver Cross after the company naughtily issued an advert featuring a picture of the pair strolling along with their children safely ensconced in one of the Silver Cross products. The massive mistake the company made was not offering J-Lo and Tutankhamun a big wad of cash for the picture (even though they probably supplied the buggies for free, as is the usual arrangement).

$5m dollars. That's what Lopez and Anthony are demanding for the unauthorised use of their picture in an advert, citing that Silver Cross are cashing in on their "substantial commercial value." They also demand all profits that the company have made from sales due to this advert.

To be fair there is a copyright issue here. If someone is infringing Jennifer and Marc's "substantial commercial value" then that is indeed an offence. Cashing in on that is their day job, after all.
