Give or receive?

Weird brother band Jonas Brothers have always faced mockery and criticism for their choice to remain virgins until marriage. With good reason - it's a ridiculous thing to do - but I digress.

The Mother spoke to Good Housekeeping and said that she supported their choice but knew of the temptation that they faced.

"They are men. They have desires. They have testosterone. If they make a mistake, I'm not going to hate them,"

"I don’t think they are above or below being seduced. I would be foolish if I thought that. They are tested and tested, like every one of us. I pray for them."

Let me get this straight, woman - you are praying for three boys that are multi millionaires, travel the world playing what I've heard described as music and get lusted after by thousands of women every night... riiiiiiight.

"They've been criticised for proclaiming things they never proclaimed. And what's the criticism? They don't want to go out there giving everyone an STD? What's so terrible about that?

Erm, hang on there for a minute, lady - GIVE everyone an STD? GIVE? Is there something they need to tell us? Are there peens glowing green or something? Surely you meant receive - yup, I'm sure you meant receive.

"I try to guide them with their choices. They have been hurt in relationships by girls. But it's just about growing up and learning what it means to be in a relationship."

She (didn't) go on to say:

"And every time a police officer or headmaster comes to the house to see if everything's OK, I stand behind the front door, make them answer it but let them know that one signal or warning to them and I'll kill the dog, by doing a cutting motion across my neck."

  • Who are these people? I really have no idea. I frequently see them in the 'celebrity gossip' sites so I assume they are popular with the youngsters. Were they in that High School Musical thing, or Twilight?
