It's not been the best start to the year for Kelly Osbourne it has to be said. After it was revealed that she had been arrested following an incident in which she allegedly slapped Mirror gossip columnist Zoe Griffin (it's a dangerous game this), we learn that Kelly has checked into rehab for god knows what sordid addiction. (Either that or to hide from the charges anyway.)

 

"Yeah, Kelly's in rehab," Sharon told RadarOnline.com.

"What else can we say? She knew that it was the right thing to do at this point and we're proud that she did it. The family is all standing behind her. Kelly knew that she needed help and she's getting it."

 

Sharon said that Kelly will stay at the Hazelden Alcohol and Drug center in Oregon for at least a month but declined to say why she was there specifically.

 

"Kelly will tell you herself when she gets out," Sharon said. "We just pray that everything's going to be okay."

 

When Kelly first entered rehab back in 2004 Sharon told Larry King: "We just had to take evasive action very quickly, because the amount of pills that was found in her bag was astounding."

 

Although to be fair, if we had millions in the bank and fuck all to do all day, we'd probably be more full of drugs than a deformed hybrid of Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty on the fifth day of Glastonbury.
