Along with his two brothers, Miley Cyrus and, err, Susan Boyle, he is one of the most famous virgins in the world (although having seen some very disturbing Miley photos recently we're not so sure about her) but Kevin Jonas has come a step closer to popping his cherry and getting out of the virgin gang by popping the question to his girlfriend.

Kevin, 22, the eldest of the three squeaky clean, God fearing, no sex before marriage Jonas Brothers, proposed to his 21-year-old girlfriend Danielle Deleasa yesterday, presumably with some sort of plea that his underused nads were on the point of exploding.

A statement from the Jonas parents said:

"Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage.

"Her answer was yes, and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us, and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our family's celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you for all of your support."

Congrats. Our money is on a very short engagement, proceeding directly to the honeymoon suite for a very brief consummation.
