Bank Lohan

Now I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure that 'Herbie: Fully Loaded' or 'I Know Who Killed Me' weren't the two highest grossing films of all time, so it's hard to see where Lindsay Lohan gets her money from. Obviously there's income from her range of extortionately priced leggings to consider as well, but to a casual outsider it would appear that Lindsay is spending rather more than is coming into her account.

According to OK! who have conducted an in-depth financial investigation (or maybe just gone through her bins and found the receipts), Lindsay regularly buys pairs of Christian Louboutin pumps for $1000 a pop, spends several thousand dollars a week on clothing and undergoes a 'manipedi' costing $200 several times a week. Apparently this is a combination of a manicure and a pedicure carried out at the same time, a bit like a spit roast with nail varnish on the side.

Most impressive of all, the most talented actress of her generation visits the Andy Lecompte Salon (aka 'I Saw You Coming') in Beverly Hills twice a week for a wash and trim. At $400 each visit, a reassuringly modest sum in the time of a global recession.

Andy Lecompte must be vying for the award of 'Cheekiest Bastard In The World' as he also collects money from Lindsay for cutting Samantha Ronson's hair. Now it may look like Samantha has her barnet done by the council with a Flymo, but no, it's another of Andy's creations, for which he demands a cool $500 per cut.

There's an old saying about a fool and their money, but the question remains - where is Lindsay getting the money from and how long can it possibly last? Maybe this time next year we'll see her in the LA equivalent of Netto, haggling over the price of baked beans and asking 'Do you know who I used to be'?
