It's hard to believe but Lindsay Lohan, the actress who appeared to be on top of the acting world with her role in 'Herbie: Fully Loaded' seems to be having something of a career dip. In fact it looks as though the more time she spends on screen the higher the likelihood her films will head straight from the editing screen to the bargain bin.

Sadly, this is the case with her latest film 'Labor Pains' a sensitive tale of a reclusive millionaire and how his obsession with 'Rosebud' eventually…oh sorry, different movie. No, 'Labor Pains' features Lohan as a useless secretary who fakes pregnancy in order to avoid being fired, after which her career blossoms. Starting with such a high moral standpoint how could it ever have failed? Oh yes, Lindsay's in it.

Maybe it's the credit crunch, the falling number of cinema-goers or the fact that Lindsay's in it, but the movie company bosses have decided that the grand premier of the film will be somewhat unusual. No red carpets and paparazzi here. Instead the film will premiere on the ABC Family channel in July (well, they might show the first hour before giving up), so it doesn't even get the dignity of going straight to DVD.

If anyone is foolish enough to employ Lindsay on a movie in the future, they should be warned that it might actually be cheaper to bus the cast around to act out the thing in people's living rooms. Why not watch a trailer for the movie below? Or alternatively you could just shuffle under the kitchen sink and rub some lovely bleach into your eyes. It'll be less painful, I promise you.
