Go Home, A-Lohan

Even though it's only April, bookies have already suspended betting on the 'Mother of the Year' award as Dina Lohan is streets ahead of all competition. Having already overseen the riches to rags career of daughter Lindsay (a 22 year-old woman who has seen more breakdowns than an RAC man on a Bank Holiday weekend) Dina is now bringing her fifteen year-old daughter into the 'Fame/breakdown/porno' cycle.

Dina decided that it would be a wonderful idea to take her lovely pair of daughters out on the town for a cuddly 'Mom/Daughter' evening (perhaps to celebrate the fact that Lindsay hasn't made a movie in the last three weeks). So where better for a 46 year-old woman to bring her children than a nice quiet meal in a secluded and intimate restaurant, well away from the prying eyes of the press? Well, that might not garner enough publicity, so Dina decided to take the pair out to a nightclub called 'Villa' in Hollywood, exactly the wrong place to avoid the press. Sigh. What could she have been thinking with such an odd (and potentially newsworthy) choice?

Bearing in mind that the legal drinking age in the US is 21 (and therefore Lindsay - who appears to have been around for longer than some plagues - is just eligible), how would the door staff react to a fifteen year-old who has already established her own pathetic singing/acting/annoying career trying to gain entry? The door staff responded in the usual fashion, using the international language of 'Bouncer', and quite rightly refusing entry to the member of the party still struggling with the concept of puberty. In fact the staff at 'Villa' turned all three away, perhaps afraid they would recreate the opening scene of 'Macbeth' in their club, something which made Dina utter the immortal lines,

"Do you know who I am? You're making a huge mistake. Huge!"

Though bearing in mind it was Dina Lohan you could easily read that comment as 'Do you know who I am? You're making the correct decision. Correct.'

So now Dina has a bit more publicity after a very public strop. Job done.Next week : Dina demands that the international press gather at Faliraki airport where she and her youngest daughter have just been refused entry to a 'Club 18-30' coach, citing a transgresssion of her basic Human Rights.
