Feeling Horne-well?

It was a sad day yesterday when Matthew Horne collapsed during a theatre performance of 'Entertaining Mr Sloane', mainly because if this had happened a few months ago he may never have been able to appear in the 'Corden and Horne' show, this generation's equivalent of 'Hale and Pace' but without the hilarious 'The Management'.

Don't worry, Matthew is out of danger and will soon be able to resume his usual Bambi-eyed creepy-face persona, which he has used to good effect by playing a creepy-looking youth in in the 'Catherine Tate Show', a creepy-looking youth in 'Gavin and Stacey' and a monumentally creepy appearance in 'Teachers' which ensured the long-running series was soon ushered off the airwaves.

Matthew collapsed on stage during a matinee performance of the play, ensuring that it wasn't only Mr Sloane that was entertained since the paramedics arrived and delivered first aid in front of the audience. Theatre-goers were offered a refund but many declined as the ambulance men actually offered better entertainment that the fare that had gone before. Horne's co-star Imelda Staunton managed to stop declaiming 'Luvvie' for long enough to confess that she also felt somewhat ill, meaning that both of them will be misssing from the next few performances. This might be a fine time to go and see 'Entertaining Mr. Sloane'.

In more sad news, it appears that James Corden remains fit and well, ready to write more hilarious sketches about fat men showing off their big bellies.
