Roll up Roll up!

Michael Jackson's family have finalised arrangements for a memorial service. It is being held on Tuesday 7th July at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles - the same venue where rehearsals for Jackson's tour were taking place. Annoyed that you're going to miss the whole gig experience now he's dead? Well don't panic - they got it covered!

Radar online are reporting that rather than the tasteful tribute fands were hoping for, they are getting, well - a completely commercial nightmare.

Tickets are to be sold at $25 a piece and if you're very lucky, you;'ll be able to buy a commemorative T-shirt. I shit you not.

Michael's family, friends and VIPS (including Diana Ross and Elizabeth Taylor) will all be on the main floor, but tickets for the stands are going on sale very soon.

The merchandise will all be stock meant for the tour - The "This Is It" slogan being even more relevant.

You can bet your skinny asses that Joe Jackson will be standing by the exits handing out blu ray record label flyers after spending the whole concert sliding them under the windscreen wipers of all the cars parked outside.

Thank god though - for a second I thought this was going to be a brash, commercial and tacky affair. PHEWEE!

Gee I bet Michael is looking down from heaven laughing his little glittery socks off (pic 2)!

  • I think the entire Staples Center started crying when Michael’s daughter Paris spoke on stage. She really wanted to say some words about her father and I think it was very courageous and brave for an 11 year old to speak in front of so many people. Many TV personality and Hollywood artist was there. But to other person who didn’t flew in they seek for a payday loan just to get the Michael Jackson memorial service full video segments. Michael Jackson’s memorial cost $1.4 million according to the news and the Staples Center get occupied.

  • Very public spirited of them to give the fans and opportunity to buy envelopes when mourning.
