
Keep it in the family

Now, let's see if he can manage to compress all of his favourite subjects (himself, his daughter, his religion, the importance of family and privacy) all into one media-friendly sound-bite.
"I definitely regret all the things I said about Samantha. I'm a Christian. I should not pass judgment on anyone. In the past, I felt that the best way to get to her was to speak out publicly. And it was the wrong choice. Family matters should be kept private. I've learned that now."
There you have it. Speaking out publicly is the wrong choice, OK? He's on the right road though, so let's all welcome the day when he realises that saying absolutely nothing at all is best. If only there was a commandment saying 'Thou shalt not covet thy daughter's publicity...'.
