Keep it in the family

Michael Lohan has been uncharacteristically quiet of late, but sadly he has ruined all of his good work by quacking on again about his daughter Lindsay and her partner Samantha Ronson. What a surprise. Michael has changed his approach now somewhat, apologising to Samantha for the mean things he said about her in the past and claiming that personal feuds should be kept in the family.

So naturally, he launched this new message via New York Magazine, which seems an odd way of keeping things private. Now, let's see if he can manage to compress all of his favourite subjects (himself, his daughter, his religion, the importance of family and privacy) all into one media-friendly sound-bite.

"I definitely regret all the things I said about Samantha. I'm a Christian. I should not pass judgment on anyone. In the past, I felt that the best way to get to her was to speak out publicly. And it was the wrong choice. Family matters should be kept private. I've learned that now."

There you have it. Speaking out publicly is the wrong choice, OK? He's on the right road though, so let's all welcome the day when he realises that saying absolutely nothing at all is best. If only there was a commandment saying 'Thou shalt not covet thy daughter's publicity...'.
