US actress Eliza Dushku has been telling of the time when she was in a Hollywood hair salon when all of a sudden the odd-looking man next to her began to chat her up, despite the fact that he looked like an rugged orange with all the juice squeezed out. It'll be no surprise to hear that the potential Lothario was Mickey Rourke. It may be more of a surprise (and likely a heart-stopping, squeaky-bum time one for Mickey) to learn that Eliza was a mere 14 years old at the time.

The 'Dollhouse' actress was talking to 'Steppin' Out' magazine when she made the revelation that is sure to have the Academy wiping their collective brow and thanking God that they gave the 'Best Actor' award to Sean Penn.

"I don't know if he knew how old I was, and don't know if what he did he would call hitting on me. We were both getting our hair cut in a salon in Beverly Hills and he definitely slipped me a few Marlboros and asked me where I was going that night."

"Don't know if what he did he would call hitting on me"? How naïve is this woman. Basically, if you're a female human and Mickey is even talking to you, he's a-hitting, never mind slipping you a few of his cheeky Marlboros. In an attempt to ensure that Mickey doesn't go down the whole 'Gary Glitter/PC World' route Eliza then attempted to play down the whole thing, saying it was her fault for acting beyond her years.

"It was definitely provocative for a 14-year-old. But keep in mind at 12 years old I was playing a 14-year-old and at 14 I was carrying on like I was 25. So I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he had no idea how old I was."

Maybe the fact that the stylist gave her a lollipop after finishing her hair and lifted her off the booster seat should have been a clue for Mickey?
