Penelope Cruz really isn't helping herself (considering that rumours about her sexuality have been trawling around Hollywood for years) by relating how her poor English skills on arriving in Hollywood led to her asking a female hairdresser to perform an intimate sex act upon her.

It seems that the husky-voiced Spaniard was, as a student, more attracted to French, which comes as little surprise.

"When I was in high school I studied French, so I learned English late. When I first came to America I made a lot of mistakes, like going to the hair salon and asking for a blow job instead of a blow dry."
