Pete Doherty has announced that The Libertines are definitely reforming in 2010. After being fired in 2004 for breaking into Carl Barat's flat and nicking a load of stuff, the band (who had roughly 2.8 good songs) have buried the hatchet.

The pair, along with drummer Gary Powell, reunited last month for an inpromptu gig, leading to speculation that a reunion was on the cards.

Were they every really all that? The songs all had one absolutely amazing bit followed by 2 minutes of pianos being thrown down a staircase didn't they?

Whatever the plan is, judging by these pics old Doherty has started to lay off the pies (replaced by skag again?) but needs to sort out the clobber- Pete, you look a right state. And surely you can afford a better quality of ciggy than Mayfair?!
