Truly, Madeley, Deeply Wrong

In the history of popular culture, there have been some odd and disquieting father/daughter relationships. Frank and Nancy Sinatra singing 'Something Stupid' to each other. That's one. Serge and Charlotte Gainsbourg's duet on 'Lemon Incest'. That's another.

But in completely and utterly unrelated news, we see that Chloe Madeley (daughter of Richard Madeley) is modelling bras and pants for Ultimo. Nothing wrong with that. A girl's got to make a living. Except that her dad was perhaps a little over-enthusiastic about her doing it.

Here's what she had to say to Hello! about when she got offered the job by Ultimo but was unsure if it was right to take it.

"I would never want to do anything that embarrasses them, so I do run things by them and Dad was like, 'Are you crazy? You have to do this!' and he jumped up and started emailing our management company to say it was a definite yes."

We keep reading and re-reading this quote and thinking that we must be translating it wrong. But, no, there it sits. Chilling our spines. Somewhere in the distance, a church bell chime can be heard through the foggy night air. Elsewhere a jet black crow stands on a fence and stares into the distance.
