Violent Fella-ella-ella

More details are emerging about the Rihanna/Chris Brown fallout and it appears that the singer is suffering from several contusions and bite marks, allegedly inflicted by the world's greatest gentleman Chris Brown. Since the assault Brown has been dropped from a Wrigley's chewing gum advert and may soon be getting that sinking feeling again in a prison bathroom.

Brown may be charged with 'making criminal threats'. It seems odd at first glance that this would be the charge (a violent thrashing is hardly a threat, is it?) but this is because the charge is considered more serious than domestic abuse and carries a sentence of up to nine years, rather than the maximum four years for spousal abuse.

The official police report mentions Penal Code Section 245, which as anyone who has watched Dirty Harry films knows is 'assault with a deadly weapon'. TMZ.com originally believed that the singer was attacked with an umbrella (unbelievable - paging Alannis Morrisette) but this would be rather difficult since it seems the alleged attack took place in a rented Lamborghini car.

It should be pointed out that fists, the feet and the head can be classed as a 'deadly weapon' in the eyes of the law (especially if attached to a violent lunatic), as can other parts of the body. After all Madonna has been hammering the spirit out of men for years now with her own offensive and deadly weapon.
