Robert Downer Junior doesn't act...he just mumbles in the hope people will mistake him for De Niro. WHY WHY WHY cast an American when there are British actors who can do a better job for less money. This would have been a great role for Andy Serkis...a flawless actor who hasn't put a foot wrong. And as for Jude Law...don't get me started...
Do you not think that it would be better being a bit darker than basically Ironman in a deerstalker?
Robert Downey Junr, massive talent - Jude Law, massive cunt. Difficult call this one. Looks a bit jolly action/adventure, not quite the same as the drug addled, manic depressive phsycho that was Jeremy Brett's Holmes (by far and away the best.) If I had to bet, I'd say it's going to be a pile of wank
Robert Downey Jr is a class act anyway - he was superb in Chaplin. I hate to fucking say this, but Ritchie may well have benefitted from getting rid of the gaptoothed bitch. He might have regained a bit of creativity. FFS
