Miller's Dropping

Oh, it's hard to be an elderly woman in Hollywood. The roles (amongst other things) tend to dry up, and there's so much pressure to be young and good-looking that the truly great acting talent can be ignored because of how they look. As can Sienna Miller. The (ahem) 'actress' has been indulging herself in a wonderful whine about how unfair life is once you start to age.

For the record, Sienna Miller is 27, in human years.

Her Hollywood career has been less than stellar so far. There was the appearance as a piece of eye-candy hanging off the front of Daniel Craig in 'Layer Cake' and her teeth-grindingly bad performance as Edie Sedgwick in 'Factory Girl' (a role in which she made even Guy Pierce's portrayal of Andy Warhol seem almost interesting in comparison). As for 'Alfie' she once again played a piece of eye-candy, this time hanging off the front of Jude Law, both on and off set. Now that's versatility.

Despite a CV that would put Orson Welles to shame (he'd be mightily ashamed), Sienna still worries that her career may be affected by the ageing process, though the 'running-off-with-other- people's-husband process' might end up having a bigger say on the death knell of her weedy talent.

"Recently I found myself thinking, 'I'm getting wrinkles and things are wobbling - I should go to the gym'. Then I was like, fuck it. LA is a nightmare for that. Young girls in Hollywood are having pre-emptive Botox."

Yeah! Why should all the sisters have to conform to some lazy stereotype set up by men in the first place? Sienna is just keeping it real for all the women out there. Grow old gracefully, let your body sag naturally and love yourself for who you are. That's the message Sienna is putting out. And that's the exact point when she'll pitch up and fuck your husband. Probably.
