We're not sure how pleased Leonard Cohen will be when he discovers that one X Factor contestant will be murdering 'Hallelujah' but it being reported as the song selected for this year's winner (but at least we'll never have to hear Daniel sing it).

And yes, the song has been sung on the show before, by X Factor favourite Diana. The news has caused outrage among the other acts, who think Diana has had an unfair advantage, and probably made Dannii Minogue cry again (although we're still surprised that she was able to produce real, hot, human tears).

Meanwhile, Diana has caused more controversy by reportedly doing the dirty with little Eoghan Quigg, who looks five years younger than Diana despite being just the one.
