An absolute gem of a kid's tv show. I'd never even heard of it before today. I am a distinctly humourless individual, and my soul died a number of years ago, but I laughed far longer and harder at this children's show than I have at any of the recent grown-up "comedy" shows like Two pints of Lager (a programme so hideous that STILL no-one can bring themselves to go near enough to put it out of its misery), Omid Djilli (is he Iranian? I'm never sure. If he was, I'd thought he'd mention it every five fucking seconds), Noel Fielding *spits*, Jimmy Carr, or that complete thunderwank of a sitcom with Lee Mack.
I'm going to write to the bbc and ask them to stop wasting all their funny shit on kids, just you see if I don't. Watch Horrible Histories. Seriously, do.
