How To Lose Friends And Alienate People
Thu, 19/03/2009 - 00:00 by chrisns
Film: Not exactly a bad movie, in fact a lot of it is very funny, but it does continually suffer from the wrath of the Small Yappy Dog rule. The SYD rule states that as soon as an annoyingly small dog appears on screen, and audience will lose all interest in the characters, plots and dialogue of the movie and simply wait for the inevitable 'hilarious' moment when the miniature canine meets its end.
In HTLFAAP's case, this 'end' is particularly underwhelming, and the rest of the film never really recovers.
Extras: A 32-minute gag reel. I'm not kidding. Honest to God. 32 minutes.
3 British sitcom actors out of 5
'INTERESTING' FACT: All of the actors in this film are more attractive than the people that they're based on.
