Paul Rudd and Jason Segel have turned out to be surprisingly capable male leads after rising up through the Apatow Machine, and both are as 'funny' and 'charming' as ever in ILY,M. But not as 'funny' and 'charming' as Jon Favreau, who tears the motherfucking place apart. He hasn't been this good since 'Swingers'. Actually, he was sort of this good in 'Four Christmases'. It's halfway through April now so I can feel relatively justified in saying this: 'I Love You, Man' is the funniest film I've seen this year. Not that it really matters what I think, it's still going to get thrashed by Hannah Montana.
