It's not quite Halloween, but Lisa Marie Presley is already calling out to the dead. Her father, Elvis, died in 1977 but this hasn't stopped Lisa Marie from trying to introduce him to his new grandchildren.

She had a meeting with a medium who claimed to be able to speak to the hip-swivelling ghost of 'The King'.

 

Strap yourself in for the heavy-weight deluded quote of the year from Lisa Marie.

 

"The medium comforted me with his words by telling me he was proud of me, the babies were beautiful, he's doing just fine on the other side, he watches over me."

 

Lots of grief-stricken people seek comfort where they can, but surely none of them plonk their new babies on a ouija board and try to reach 'the other side'.

 

Maybe the Elvis estate (no strangers to whacking his image on just about any product going) could launch a line of related merchandise. Like a skeleton with a quiff, a jumpsuited ghost costume or a witch's caldron filled with burgers and sedatives.

 

Talk about Ghoulhouse rock (sorry).
