Robbins was rightly outraged when he went to vote at his local polling station and was told that his name didn't appear on the list of voters. When he pointed out that he had been voting at this station for the previous ten years he was still told that the computer said 'no'.
He was offered a 'provisional vote' which meant it might be counted later but Robbins refused, saying he wanted a proper vote with boxes and names and everything, growing angry and shouting at the polling worker, who refused to discount the possibility that Robbins would drive around the country and try to vote for Obama in every polling station in every state, creating a one-man landslide.
Robbins then accused the worker of trying to intimidate him into not voting (that's the six foot five Robbins, by the way) before using his movie knowledge to literally ' take this all the way to city hall' - the City Board of Elections to be precise, where he managed to get proof of his eligibility to vote.
Good to see that so much has changed since Florida in the 2000 election. At least Tim can console himself by going home to the never-ageing Susan Sarandon and mulling over his burgeoning movie career. Oh. He must be in a foul mood at the moment.
